We all know the story of the Watchtower's membership of the UN.
Here's a hypothetical situation. You start studying to become a witness and they ask what you do. You work for the UN, say a researcher or something you can do in any town or city. What would the reaction be from the congregation? Would the fact you worked for the UN be brought into question? Surely working for the UN in order to put bread and butter on your table is a more noble cause than being a member, and signing contracts to support the UN's goals simply to "use their library"?
Anyone currently talking to witnesses who don't know your occupation care to try this one?
