    Not today I'm not!

It's piddling down here in WSM. I'm half-way through re-fascia-ing and re -guttering a customers huge house on the hillside.

However, once you've removed the guttering and then it starts raining, guess where the worse place is for a gutterer to be? That's right, it's right where you want to be, at the edge of the roof where the water is now pouring over since you removed the guttering.

We call it Sod's Law in England. It's the same Law that makes toast always land butter side down onto the carpet when you accidently drop it.

Oh well. I guess this was never going to be one of those Earth shaking posts.

Meanwhile, I shall just cruise gently through the day and think of some more amazing subjects to discuss.

Well, if it's any consolation, it's piddling down here in Tongling too ! But the weird thing is it that the rain here at this time of year is warm - kind of like a golden shower...

    E-Man,

We call it Sod's Law in England. It's the same Law that makes toast always land butter side down onto the carpet when you accidently drop it.

In the US we call it "Murphey's Law" ... named after an Army officer. The basic law is that, "if it can go wrong, it will go wrong, in the worst possible way, at the worst possible time."

However, there is another law on the horizon called "Whitney's Law" ... for the over worked and under paid, who struggle with such things as Sod's Law and Murphey's Law ... it is this,

"I had ONE nerve left when I got up this morning, and DAMN IT, you had to go step on it!"

If toast always lands butter side down and a cat always lands on it's feet, what would land if you had toast stapled to the back of a cat?
