The Watchtower's Most Death-Dealing Lie

This needs a post of its own:

Recently, the Watchtower is making statements about blood to the effect that blood has only one "God-authorized use" or "one special

    use".

As usual, they're deliberately lying. The problem is, unlike many of their other lies, this falsehood can kill somebody.

It should be perfectly clear to any unbiased observer that the purpose of blood is maintain life - and the Bible agrees

with this in saying that "the life is in the blood" Gen 9:4.

EVERY human or animal, with a heart beating in its chest, is a testimony to this fact. Saying that blood has only

ONE "God authorized use" in some religious ceremony is a lie.

Refusing to save someone's life by a blood transfusion is a PERVERSION of its God-intended purpose - to sustain life.

In my opinion, judging by the most basic standards of any civilization, the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses are

guilty of manslaughter and negligence. In a perfect world, I believe that their public execution would be entirely just - since

THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE MISTAKE - or casual error of doctrine. These hard-hearted Pharisees have entrenched themselves in a deliberate

course of falsehood and deception to protect their reputations, positions, and wealth. There is no moral excuse for what they are

doing, since they publically demonstrate the matter of "consciences seared with a branding iron" in themselves.

    Absolutely.

If they were to make these statements under any form of authority other than religion, they would be sued into oblivion. It is a shame that our society has gone so far in its efforts to protect the freedom of religion, that we cannot stop religions from taking away the freedoms of their members.

Can someone post excerpts from WT articles on blood that compliment those who die, giving their lives to the WT interpretation? I would be curious to see how congratulatory the language gets in complimenting the "fine example"....

There are many fine posts concerning the recent Watchtower on blood.

However, I wanted to emphasize this one, critical point: this subject isn't about some accident of interpretation or minor error

in viewpoint. It isn't about "waiting on Jehovah", hoping that feeble old men die off so that moral reform can move forward

    within the organization.

An article such as the one written recently, cannot have its intended effect of control without being deliberately crafted

with the intent to deceive. The Watchtower, in effect, is behaving exactly in the same manner as they ascribe to Satan:

Carefully and consciously putting together a well crafted lie - with potential harm in view.

If you are reading this, Brother Bethelite, YOU ARE MORALLY RESPONSIBLE for helping to contribute to this continuing

fraud - and guilty of helping a band of stiff-necked and corrupt old men to cause death and injury - to maintain their power.

the only God-authorized use of blood was on the altar to make atonement for the lives of the Israelites, who were seeking Jehovah's forgiveness. >>Watchtower
So, they want your blood on the WT's altar.... Maori

Blood transfusions are a double edge sword. There have been many people's lives taken by bad blood, Aids, wrong type, tranfussing it to fast in some circumstances, hepititus etc. I know of two, my aunt and my daughter's husband's grandmother. But I think it should be left to the individual to make his own choice. I'm sure more are saved than killed by this procedure, but it is dangerous.
