The term starts being used in earnest in 1953 (153 times in the WT).

    *** w53 5/1 283 Temple Teaching ***
The remnant or "remaining ones" of the temple class and the "other sheep", all devoted to the new world of promise, together constitute a "New World society" of Jehovah?s worshipers, feeding at God?s table of spiritual truth, making such temple teaching available to others.?2 Pet. 3:13, NW.

Is it just a matter of making a claim or profession of being one of Jehovah?s witnesses that makes one an associate of this New World society and therefore taught of Jehovah, receiving his blessings? No, it is not such an easy thing. It is difficult from the human standpoint, but it is possible by the undeserved kindness of Jehovah, who makes ample provision through Christ Jesus. To join an organization of men, pay dues and in some way have one?s name inscribed in an enrollment record, that is an easy matter. But the only way to be one of God?s organization, to be one of the children of his "woman" and be taught by him, is to be devoted to him and to righteousness and to carry out the principles of his Word, the Bible, to the best of one?s ability. Requirements for association with the New World society can be seen from all we have been considering. It is evident that we must be teachable, not arrogant. We must be amenable to his word of instruction and have a real love for righteousness.

By 1967, it has decreased to only 11 times in the WT.

    *** w67 6/1 329-30 God Kindly Leads His People Toward Life ***

Association necessarily leads to organization, and Jehovah?s witnesses, the New World society, are organized. Jehovah promised to gather his people together. (Isa. 43:5-7; 2:2-4; Ps. 106:47) Jesus said this would take place in the time of the end. (Matt. 24:31) Jehovah God and his Son Jesus Christ are their Leaders and the Bible is their Book of organization. To many people organization has the connotation of regimentation, undue encroachment on freedom, a coldhearted machine that moves ahead for its own aggrandizement without taking into consideration the welfare of its members. It is not so with Jehovah?s organization.

(FYI the WTS stopped using the term "new order" in 1986)

Also, rekless, I don't remember the Society ever using "New World Order Society." It was either the "New Order" or the "New World society" but not World and Order in tandem.

Wow, no one's been saying "New Order" since 1986? How about colloquially or from the podium?

The term "new order" has not been used in the WTS publications in reference to the "new system," "new world" since 1986. Speakers have been very careful not to use it since it was being confused with the phrase "new world order" that US politicians were highlighting as well as some conspiracy minded groups. I'm sure some of the older speakers might slip from time to time but I'm sure they are corrected privately. It's like saying "good luck," someone is likely to jump in and remind you.

It is eerie to do the search on the WT-CD and see how the term abruptly ends in being used in 1986.

The preferred term now is "new world" with the usage of "new system" dropping off to just once last year.

Hitler also use the term "New Order" to describe what he intended for Europe as well as the rest of the world. Of course his usage of the term dropped off significantly in April 1945

You May Survive Armageddon into God?s New World (1955) p.273

    CHAPTER XVII

Living Now in the New World Society

T O GAIN life in the new world of God?s promise the life seeker has to begin now before the end of the old world to live according to the standards of the new world. The effort to meet this requirement now in this ?time of the end? of the old world has resulted in the forming of a New World society. Such a thing as a New World society was first mentioned at the first international assembly of Jehovah?s witnesses at Yankee Stadium, New York city, in the summer of 1950. Such a society actually exists. It is not incorporated according to the laws of any Old World nation, for its members are found all over the earth and not even the 60-member United Nations is in position to authorize or incorporate it. Yet it is a real society with a constantly growing membership.

    The Advent of Prophecy

At the beginning of 1982, the Society placed the following text in the Awake! masthead:

Most importantly, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new order before the generation that saw the events of 1914 C.E. passes away. (January 1 1982)

Here we have all the requirements of a prophecy: it is delivered in God's name -- explicitly stating that it is his promise -- and it is specific.

Some ardent Witnesses might argue that the prediction was not "said in God's name". It is true that the Awake! does not say, "Jehovah said the following..." but such a defense basically amounts to this: "We said the Creator promised it, but we never claimed He said it in his own name".

In the middle of 1983, the promise was rephrased slightly:

Most importantly, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure New Order before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away. (June 8 1983)

Eliminating "C.E." (Common Era) was a good editing decision, since it removed a possible source of confusion for readers who are used to seeing "A.D." (Anno Domini) in a date. Of more significance is the capitalization of "new order". By writing "New Order", the Society informed the reader that something definite was promised.

Oddly enough, the "statement of purpose" was removed from Awake! at the beginning of 1987. It returned in 1988, in slightly revised form:

Most importantly, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away. (March 8 1988)

"New Order" was replaced by "new world". This was slightly less emphatic, but the statement still retained the mark of a prophecy: it was delivered in God's name, and made a specific prediction.

The January 8 1991 issue of Awake! changed the word "importantly" to "important" -- a simple grammatical correction.

Kate and I were talking about this tonight...how the "jargon" changes so quickly, and with such subtle changes to boot, that usually within just a few months someone who's been "out" can easily be identified as "he/she hasn't been keeping up with new light, have they?" In the cumulative 80 years in the org that Kate and I have spent wasted, it's almost impossible to even remember all these little nuances.

We both shake our heads at how bamboozled we were by that cult.

But, we're out now! Life is starting anew!
