    Hello all,

I'm not sure if anyone here feels qualified to answer or not, but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I saw this article today and am very interested in learning more.

Does anyone know if the current blood stand by the WTS has any bearing on this treatment? Are the things being discussed in this article blood fractions? Anyway, I'm clueless about this and am looking for any help.

    Thanks a ton,

No, insulin-producing cells are not blood fractions or components.

This would be considered a tissue transplant and not in the realm of the Society's inconsistent policy on blood.

    Thanks Max.

I hope to find more out about this through my own research. But thanks for clearing that up right away.
