My wife is in Kansas City for a few days. She went out there to compete in a contest sponsored by SIFE that they won in Charlotte NC that was part of a college project. I thought it would be good to have a few days to do whatever I wanted without her. Was I ever wrong. I miss her so much. I don't know what to do without her around. I sure will be glad when she gets back home.

I'm sure she will be back soon.
Funny how when a spouse goes away a few days it gets very lonely after the first 24 hours for me.
Rent a couple of movies for the evening. It will help pass the time.

You are so sweet! When I take business trips with my company, they are miserable events. I may be busy during the day when I'm working, but in the evenings...alone in the hotel room makes me terribly homesick. So I understand all too well. But absence does make the heart grow fonder. The reunions are always so wonderful! Chin up friend - she'll be home in no time!

Just got back from my daughters. Wow, she has been going through hell. Her son's girlfriend told her husband a bunch of lies about her and she went bonkers. She overheard where she was on the cell phone and she went looking for her. She found her with her mother, girl friend and a boy in a car. She pulled up beside them at a traffic light and got out of her truck and was going to beat her ass, they locked the doors so she couldn't get to them, it a good thing they did. She was so mad she might have killed her with her bare hands. That's just part of the story, I won't go into it anymore.
Also her uncle just died, my wife's first husband's brother. They weren't close so that didn't factor in to her problems very much. They are going to auction off her and her husbands house this week end. It's in the country with 49 acres of land. They think her husband's uncle will be able to out bid anyone so they can keep it, but only if someone doesn't over bid too much.{Just got a call from an old friend that I worked with about 40 years ago, her husband just died a few weeks ago} So many people that I know are dying.
I won't bore you with the bad stuff anymore.
