Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the book "A People for His Name" by Timothy White?
My husband really wants a real copy of the book since all we have is a photocopied version.
Any help is appreciated!

Has anyone even HEARD of this book? It was passed around the local ex-jw elder/ms circle a while back. I'd like to have a copy of the real thing.

The full title of Timothy White's book is "A People for His Name: "A History of Jehovah's Witnesses and an Evaluation." It was originally published in 1968 by Vantage Press.
That should give you some place to start. Usually books of a vintage that old are out-of-print, but dilligence may yield you a copy.
I suggest you first contact Vantage and see if someone else picked up the rights to re-publish it. Then, there is always Amazon.com and e-Bay!

You could try vintage book stores, the public library, or maybe even E-bay.

I stumbled across this thread and thought it would be a good idea to bring it up-to-date.
"A People For His Name" is back in print, and a a reasonable price, too!
Some time - a few years - after this thread lapsed, the author, Tony Wills, who wrote the first edition using the pen name Timothy White, decided that the time had come to republish the book. It is available from LULU.com, Amazon.com, and internet booksellers everywhere.
Good news indeed for the next generation of soon-to-be XJWs!
