    Ever been to one??

Vicki and I are off to our high school Reuion this weekend I cannot wait to see so many faces....

I am a little ticked that it was such a last second thing, as they could not locate us...Other wise I would have been on a kick to drop 20lbs...You know the regular girl thing....So I guess they will see me my true best, weight and all......

Many will be shocked to see that we are no longer Jws, and can party with the best of them now...And that we have turned out normal..

I went to my 20th reunion 20 years ago, and was surprised that the gals looked beautiful and it was the men who had gotten fat. I was about 10 pounds over the weight I would like to have been but felt skinny next to the guys I drooled over in high school. Oh, and they were bald too. Bald is fine, no offense, but I had nothing to worry about after seeing all the rest.

Go. You might be surprised. When I went to mine; the former cheerleaders had gotten ugly. The football jocks didn't look too hot either. However....the former plain janes, wallflowers, overweight ones and those otherwise forgotten years ago looked smashing!!!! Go figure...

Oh, this is one of my favorite fantasies.

Whenever I have run into folks from high school, they are always pleased I escaped the Tower, and they have all turned out to be nice people to chat with. I'd love to go to a HS reunion, and see them all.

They always say "you haven't changed a bit, you look the same", which is nice, too.

    Have fun, gals!

I went to my 5 year reunion back in January at a concerted effort. I had to take off work, and travel over an hour just to get there but it was worth the effort. I loved telling everyone that I was no longer a dub and that I didn't really believe in religion any more or even God for that matter. I guess everyone was surprised by my heathen ways. The funniest thing was that the class president asked me to say an opening prayer-need I say I had to decline, tempting as it was.

The reunion was very lame but I did get the chance to see some old friends and in some cases apologize for my crazy dub ways back then. In my graduation class there were three other dubs as well. I was looking forward to seeing them there but I guessed they all bailed, for none of them showed up. I asked my parents what they were doing but they seemed pretty mute on the subject. Although, through third parties I hear that all my old dub friends from my school are basically losers, still stuck in that small town with no education or future. I can't wait to the 10th year reunion, I'll have so much to brag about. Oh, and my picture with my class did get in the local paper.

Talesin...I hope you get to yours soon...This reuion is a little more special because it is our 50th celebration and the school plans to close, so they are have a big whooping one. It is a little sad as well.
