Well, in the effort to catch up to where I should be in life, I'm taking some extra classes during the summer. I normaly love college but this has to be the worst summer of my life. I'm taking a statistics class that is from May 26 to July 2, meets at 8:00 A.M. to 9:40 A.M. and is M through Th every day. I'm also taking a Video MicroEconomics course that seems easier, and only has 3 tests and is nice because you can go at your own pace. The good thing about these summer courses is that they are at a Junior College and they will transfer in to my regular college without affecting my G.P.A. as long as I pass them. I haven't decided if I'm going to take classes during July and August, I might need a little break before Fall semester starts.

Anyways, cursed is my life right now because I probably would be enjoying my summer had I not been raised a Witness. Oh well, it could be worse I guess, I could still be pioneering, trying to get in my hours. Anyone else having a great summer or sucky summer for that matter?

I took summer classes the last 2 years of college so I could graduate on time. It was worth it, but VERY busy. The classes were 3 or 6 weeks long. They were all Computer Science classes too, so they were pretty demanding. i took 16 units one summer and 18 units the next (and 12 units was considered full time) My grades would have been better If i would have taken my time and taken the classes during the regular semester, but who cares about grades now. I'm all growed up and gots a big person job.

I wish! But I have to take algebra, definitely NOT my forte. I tried taking a math class in a summer session and ended up repeating it because a semester's material was crammed in half a semester's time. So I'm going to wait for fall.

I do recommend you take a little break before fall semester. It really cuts down on burn out.

I've been feeling pretty angry myself over everything I set aside. I should be well established in a career, and here I am struggling to get a degree. But it could be worse-I could be watching the news for every little indication that Armageddon has started, lol.

Nope. I barely made it through the Spring semester with only one class. LOL And statistics? Wow, you must be a glutton for punishment.

    Best of luck to you.
