Jesus the Lord Jehovah from the LXX

In Brenton's translation of the Septuagint, the verses quoted by the Hebrews author read:

Psa 102:25 (101:25) In the beginning thou, O Lord, didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands. They shall perish, but thou remainest: and they all shall wax old as a garment; and as a vesture shalt thou fold them, and they shall be changed. But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. LXX

Hebrews 1:8 but of the Son `he saith,' . . . Hebrews 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands:
    Hebrews 1:11 They shall perish; but thou continuest: And they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
Hebrews 1:12 And as a mantle shalt thou roll them up, As a garment, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, And thy years shall not fail. ASV

    Amen Brother Hooberus!

Here is another Scripture I thought of, which shows that there is more than one person called "Jehovah":

Zechariah 3:1-3: T hen he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And Jehovah said to Satan, "Jehovah rebuke you, Satan! Jehovah who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?" Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

That was THE Angel [Messenger] of Jehovah, who was also Jehovah -- The Commander of the Army of Jehovah. Joshua 5:13 - 6:2: And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?" So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of Jehovah I have now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say to His servant?" Then the Commander of Jehovah's army said to Joshua, "Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy." And Joshua did so. N ow Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And Jehovah said to Joshua: "See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.

What about only the father knowing the hour and not even the son or the angels knowing?

    Now I am confused

The doctrine of the foreknowedge of the members of the Trinity is (for me anyway) very complex. Below are a few threads where this has been discussed. I don't necessarily agree with everything on these threads, for example the second has a statement: "It clearly shows that Jesus coming to earth divested himself of his omniscience to become one of us." - I am not quite sure of the authors meaning of this, however the scriptures are clear that Jesus was fully God when on this earth and so prehaps Jesus did not make use of his foreknowlege.

however there are some interesting points.

    El Blanko,

The answer is at the very core of Christianity: Jesus Christ was and is 100% God and 100% Human.

    Notice the following Scriptures:

    Jesus as a Human:

Luke 2:40: And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.

Mark 11:12: Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry.

Mark 13: 32: "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
