Celtic has to write The Book

Recently I have met an old Fleet Street hack, or newspaper reporter, formally writing for The Daily Mail. He has been encouraging me also like many of you here, to start writing a book, which he will kindly be assisting me with, currently he too is looking again to be published soon with a bestseller.

I pondered last night and today have been rather perplexed about what I ought to base the theme upon, for my particular writing style.

Peter is writing his story about Bertha, an old Austin A30 he owns and their adventures together, part fictional and part real life.

A few minutes ago, a theme ran through my mind, I think I will be attemping at least the first chapter from this week, I have decided to call my book - The Book, simple as that, nothing else.

The Book will be a journey of discovery and insight among the many playful characters as depicted by the various chapters all defined by a personal name and with each character, or chapter personality, we will embark upon our adventurous journey's exploring fun, the universe, the ups and downs and mirth of life.

Btw I discovered a new word late last night which I want to bring into my vocablary, - Umbrage. What a lummily beautiful word, as in, 'Now, don't you get taking umbrage with me'.

    Anyway, I have digressed.

Can anyone here come up with a lads or lasses name for the chapter of my first book? i.e. Beatrice, Enid, Agnes, Nathaniell, Doug, Gregory.

You choose the names, I'll pick one and take it from there, and get to know this fictional friend of mine. As I progress through the chapters, the layers of the story will become interwoven, the tapestry weaved, as the journey of inner storytelling unfolds upon itself.

    Suggestions welcomed.

In Booze Rutherford's book "Children," the characters were John and Eunice. If your book will have any kind of JW theme, those might be nice names.

That is not a very good start to a career as an author, appealing to a public discussion Board for ideas..

HS - you miss the point entirely.

This is not a book looking to be published, it is simply an exercise in non judgemental writing, the other author, already well published Peter, will be simply analysing my style of written communication within to hone the processes. Also, why not? Why not ask for suggestions and input, why do you consider this not to be a good start? I am most puzzled at your lack of something or other, for this comment on your behalf to arise. All I was looking for was a name, asking the universe for assistance from someone to supply me with such, to share and open out the process. As it happens Arrowstar came out with a very good name which I will use for my first chapter title. Of course I could have picked a name myself but planning ahead as I usually like to do, I was simply including a perspective would be audience, I don't really need to say anymore, not by any means though have I taken umbrage with your view. All the best!!

I like Mike as a character name... but I have a hidden agenda for offering this name... it is my own...
