Proclamers-book says in a page 230
"In 1959 another outstanding provision went into operation. This was the Kingdom Ministry School, attended by circuit and district overseers as well as by congregation overseers. It began as a full-month study course. After being used for a year in the United States, the material for the course was translated into other languages and was progressively used around the globe. Since it was not possible for all the overseers to arrange to be away from their secular work for a full month, a two-week version of the course was used starting in 1966."
I guess it was 1959.If not,then i have a wrong sitation.
Yes, my Dad and several "then colleagues" of mine went on it at Mill Hill bethel.
It was first for CO's, then PO's, then asst PO's.
A photo was always taken at the end of the class. The one that I have is in black and white, and shows about 30 suited men sat on modern chairs each with a small attached desk top for writing. I believe that the Mill Hill sessions were well laced with humour, although the then Branch overseer, Price Hughes, struggled to understand the Engish jokes.
The returning student was generally a PITA for a few weeks until his new-found enthusiam rubbed off.
