Here's how the Kingdom Hall in Weston super Mare looks today.
Can you think of any better uses for your Kingdom Hall?

Drugs processing plant. The end product fucks up fewer people.
Can you just taste the irony that the hall is now being used to collect blood???

hmmmmm...where have I heard that before?
Hey Englishman,
That brick-work watchtower is very, very, very disturbing... and didn't they know that individual halls are not supposed to use the watchtower symbol? At least my old hall had a blank space on its sign board where they had been planning to put a little tower symbol before headquarters nixed the idea.
Hi Tergiversator,
Long time, no read! No, I didn't know that the castellated structure was a no-no, thanks for the info.
It does look very sinister though, doesn't it?

Yes i can beat yours hands down!!
My local kingdom hall was bought on a purchase order by Southern Water, and then BULLDOZED!!!
On the site now are water storage tanks.
The congregation have been moved and are sharing another kingdom hall and have been for 3 years.
Their new kingdom hall is still waiting to be built elsewhere because the congregation are waiting for the Quickbuild Department (?? -sorry I have forgotten the name) at Bethel to pull their finger out.
(Aside thought: are the Quickbuild team going to take this long after armageddon to build one single square hall? God help them all those waiting for housing).
Enlighted UK
Enjoy your life, it is the only one you'll have.
Suggestions from Papa Dark:
graffiti site (no windows to mar the product)
meeting place for agoraphobics and the very paranoid (they can all sit facing the door)
One hall in my area has been converted to a Mason's meeting hall. Another was purchased by a Russian group. It was later used by the Russian mafia. A third stands empty, and has for 3 or 4 years now.
Many halls in the area are being sold and the congregations combined, from what I hear. We can only hope that the numbers continue to dwindle.

wow its got windows!
actually if its being used as a red cross building its probably benefitting people, down here the red cross coordinates carers in the community and volunteers to help people coming out of hospital amongst other things and they pay well too
nelly
edited to add, the old kh in this town is now a playschool,
the new one is right out of town which must make it pretty hard for anyone who hasnt got transport
