Since the word can be used as reverence to a person also, and since dubs do not believe Jesus to be god, then they can use the word how they want.
The New Testament Greek Lexicon

NAS (60) - bow down, 1; bow down before, 1; bowed down, 1; bowed down before, 2; bowing before, 1; bowing down, 1; prostrated himself before, 1; worship, 32; worshiped, 17; worshipers, 1; worshiping, 1; worships, 1;
GumbyInteresting point to consider. In the old Green Bible the WTS translated that word at Hebrews 1:6 as "worship" not "obeisance." Later they changed it obviously because Jesus being worshipped didn't fit into their theology.
