I saw it! It is totally surreal and funny! Not at all what I expected. Glen Close and Bett Midler were HILARIOUS!

The first movie of this was one of my favorites...very dark. But this one had a lighter tone, more humor and a totally different ending. I liked it...my hubby said it was okay...so he didn't sleep through it like at the latest Harry Potter movie we went to!

Can't wait to see it, it is also Faith Hill's film debut.

Wish I could turn my other half into a "Stepford Wife", then I might actually have help with the cooking and cleaning!!!

I went to see "Saved" tonight and could not get in (technical glitch with the print my local theater received.) So, I bought a ticket for Stepford instead.

I was a big fan of the original and really liked this version. Roger Ebert said it was like seeing a new production of a favorite play - since you know the plot already, you go to see the acting and production values. They focused more on the comedy and less on the horror aspects of the story which I enjoyed.

Bette Middler stole the movie from my perspective. Deffinitely worth a watch.

Gosh, we had really looked forward to this film, but ended up being disappointed in it. We seemed to be the only people in the very crowded theatre that DID catch some of the funny parts tho and laughed. It was somewhat shallow and kinda hokey - Matthew Broderick was questionable in his role and we didn't feel much for the characters. Faith Hill needs to stick with her singing career - Bette Midler was the best of the bunch. We don't think the movie will make it big as a summer hit, but it may boost rentals/sales of the original film.

We went to see it Wednesday, it seemed a little campy at first, but, we got into it. The endings were surprising to say the least. Did y'all 'jump' at that one part? I won't give it away....
