The court ruled that as it was dark when the offence was committed Modiba might not have realised the extent of the injuries which landed the victim in hospital for two months.

I would say it's at times like this it makes me ashamed to be a man - but this 'thing' doesn't qualify as human!
Death sentence would be too light for critters like this.
