Can WT endanger their members lives?

    Avenger,I think it was, mentioned that he wasn't warned that he was studying with an incestious/psychopathic family/individual.

    Does the WT have a duty of care towards its members?

    They obviously don't think so.............otherwise they would warn the congregation of any pedophiles in their midst................

    No, it does not. Everything is based on "theocratic" order. You could be out in service alone with a convicted rapist, but as long as there is no judicial sanction against the person (i.e. reproof/DF) he is a member in good standing and no one has any official duty to warn anyone. If you are lucky, there will be someone in the congregation in posession of a human heart who will warn you, but don't count on it.

    Most JWs are more concerned with pleasing the organization than with being good people. Many would find the idea of exposing a "brother" to be repugnant, as long as his sins are all paid up and they don't have a personal grudge.
