I have the radio on most of the time.
In the car, at home, wherever.
Most of the time I listen to Radio 2. No ads, just good music and chat. You can hear it live here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2.shtml

Thanks, Englishman, that was a great way to start my day - English radio! Wonderful! Ha ha ha!
I am listening to the Sounds Of The 60s link. The gentleman played a Cat Stevens song I never have heard called I Love My Dog. Now he's playing Motown. Mainly it's charming and very different to hear the chat, where it's raining, where the traffic is bad and the surnames of people. Quigley is one that's not common here.
Thanks to the British Invasion in the early 1960s and Twiggy and all that I was obsessed with Great Britain for many years. Cool he's playing I Saw Her Standing There as I type.
Thank you very much for the link, Mike. It's kind of magical.

I listen to LaunchCast radio on Yahoo...it is okay
I listened to the sounds of the 60s. Then I listened to the sounds of the 70s and learned that Albert Hammond is from England and not the USA. I am listening to Love Songs now.
Mike, what I like is that the DJ stops and tells what the songs are and comments on the writers, arrangements, etc. They do that every couple of songs. Here they play several songs, often don't tell you who you heard and then a few commercials, etc. Very annoying.

Hey, so cool! I just sent Bob Harris an e-mail saying hello and telling him how I got the link to his show, and how much I enjoy his show; asked him to say hello to Michael H***** and Derek W**** - and he just read it over the air! How awesome is that? Thanks Englishman again for the link to a terrific radio station!
SIACN,
Gosh, someone mentioned me on the radio?

Here's a fine example of American radio:
Thank gawd for the internet. I'm really glad that I can still listen to the commercial-free BBC radio and even gladder that I don't have to pay for it anymore!
Ya want to put Radio 4 on ... it's tops for being informative and entertaining.
Oh, and the only music is on Friday morning (Desert Island Discs)
