Oh no ... my 'unbeaten run' has come to an end
After 9 first-time exam passes I failed one (even the woman at the test centre was surprised, LOL)
I took 70-293 "Networking Infrastructure" last Monday and got 675 - about one question short of the 700 pass mark. Even worse, I second-guessed some of my answers before I pressed "exit" and so knew some of the ones I got wrong (cause when I got home I checked and I had them right the first time ).
But it was my own fault ... being ill for a couple of weeks and then busy with various things meant I hadn't even read the book
But I passed today with quite a good score of 800
I'm quite chuffed too that the 6 bars showing how you scored in different subject areas were almost identical between the two exams apart from the two areas that let me down on the first attempt - now right over to the right (strong).
It's a bit of a slog now though - this Networking and Active Directory is not my core stuff at all and I'm only doing it to get my MCSE (and as a personal challenge) although it should help with work and give me more options. Just 2 more to go now and then I get to put my feet up. If I can do them before the end of August then I'll have got MCP, MCAD, MCSD, MCDBA, MCSA and MCSE all within a year
Of course that will be just in time for my University Degree courses starting ... oh, it would be so nice to just sit and watch TV sometimes
