  C.T. Russell was NOT guided in an organized way. He was an independent thinker and yet was never criticized for being such from the society. He alone was ALLOWED to be an independent thinker. He broke away from all "guided" religion and started his own.....I'd say he was pretty independent.....wouldn't you?

  Actually the "Divine Purpose" book says that this IS when" the light was turned on". It says god seen fit to "turn on the light in the 20th century" through Russell. It's in the beginning of the book but can't remember which page. Gumby

  20 Such thinking is an evidence of pride. And the Bible says: "Pride is before a crash, and a haughty spirit before stumbling." (Proverbs 16:18) If we get to thinking that we know better than the organization,

  Just read more of that article I can't believe what i just read. They can guide us but if we choose to think about what they are saying then we are too proud.
