Meditation: What does God promise to those who lift their needs to Him?

Psalm 91:15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him. I shall be with him in distress. I will rescue him and glorify him.

If you have time read all of Psalm 91 and you will find that the
writer is not just talking about what God will do for you but that He will do it because He loves YOU. This chapter is a list of things that God will do for you. When you see just how much God loves you what will you be willing to do for Him?

    Toni,

I don't expect that God would want me to do anything for him. Why should he? After all, he is eternal, all knowing and therefore, he is self sufficient. It is like asking a parent with a one week old baby. Well, look at what you are doing for your baby. What do you expect your baby to do for you?

I we are called to work for God By Jesus in Matthew 28:19 &20 which says Go therefore and make descipesof people of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you, and look I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system if things.

We are to grow up and not be children. I would want my grown children to do what I would ask them to do. I would not ask them to do anything unreasonable.
Ephesians 4:14 & 15 in order that we should be no longer babes, tossed about as by waves and carried hither and tither by the trickery of men, by means cunning in contriving error, 15 But speaking the truth let us by love grow up in all things, into Him who is the head, Christ:
