Isn't this the same disk that was given away FREE by members of this board and others ( the only thing that was asked is that you dup it and pass it along?) and it's now being sold for money?
Many people put alot of hard work into this like Nathan Nates and all he asked was that it be passed onto others. Whoever is selling this if this is indeed the disk is a_________ insert bad word here.

I did understand this was an ebay seller. This same thing happened last year on E-BAY after all the hard work that went into such. As I said above I may be wrong about what disk it is.
Where does it say it is an original JW CD from Patterson/Brooklyn or where ever they may be making them. Not to mention the standard expected donation in JW land for this disk is about 100 dollars from what I understand and they are very hard to get more than one of.
Now if this is not the same disk and someone has duped them and is selling them for 12 bucks then more power to him, if it is the same one I am thinking of then phooy on him or her.

The page has a photo of an original CD, and does not metion anything about them being mere copies. Therfore it seems that they probably should be originals.

It would probably be best to confirm with the seller if they are original before sending payment. However from the site, the item does seem to be that way.

these being sold are the original WT CD with publications in text-format since 1960's up to 2003.
If the CD being sold on eBay are really the original ones, then is legal to do so, as I understand it.
The other CD you were talking about was the work of a kind soul who created a searcheable text+image (PDF) CD of some old WT books, which can now be found on http://quotes.watchtower.ca/

That was the one I was speaking of! The same one which someone else put on e-bay last year after all the hard work.

I have an original 2003 WT CD, and this appears to b an original, unless the guy has a duplicating machine and CD printer. I'm sure the Society monitors ebay for such activity, since the CD is copyrighted.
I have the first WT software ever published .... the NWT on 5.25 floppy disk
