Have a wonderful vacation. SF is indeed a very interesting city, despite an alarming real estate cost! Try and listen to Arthur Lee's 'Between Clark and Hillsdale' from the Forever Changes album. It sums up the mood of the city when imho it was, like many other cities, at its best - in the early 70's. Maybe I am just on old geezer.

Just packing up for airport. Thanks for the suggestion, HS...I will look for it.

Had to laugh at H_S's comment:

I always think of two songs when I think of San Francisco, 1) I Left My Heart in San Francisco and 2) Eric Burdon's San Franciscan Nights. I'll have to look up Arthur Lee's song H_S.
Have a safe flight home and I'll look forward to seeing more pics.
