To begin at the beginning, Hell.com is an interactive online project that is part Dante, part Jackson Pollock. A private, parallel Web accessible only to its 80 or so invited members (which include avant-garde Web design forces such as absurd.org and jodi),although anyone can get guest access to view certain parts. It's been around since 1999 or so.

i remeber finidng that site once, thinking how cooli it would be to have an e-mail address @hell.com. I too could never really figure out the purpose of the site.
