I am going to post a truism about once a month. Most of you will have heard them all before. But at least they will be togther in one place. Here is mine for August.
A secret is not a secret when more than one persons knows?
Do you agree? Or can some people be so trusted that it will never get passed on?
i think it's only a secret when someone won't tell.
But they always do and that is my point of the truism

If someone asked me to keep a secret I would keep it. Just as long as it doesn't hurt someone. I have more secrets in my head that I have forgotton them. I never told secrets to others because I have always been betrayed by secrets told about me. And some people are really nasty and cruel. And believe it or not most of them are JW's You know how loyal they are. I have seen many hurt by others and false stories.
I never ever wanted to be known as a person who betrays a trust.

Two or more can share a secret amongst themselves. It is no secret among them, but it is a secret to anyone who doesn't know or has not been told.
So, no, it really isn't a truism, but that's a secret just between you and me.

well....I have one family member that if you tell them something it is like the vault has been permanently sealed!!!
Although those people that can "keep secrets" are rare...they are out there!!!
