I was just cruising the Net and stumbled across this group of people. Is this a joke? They seem to take themselves pretty seriously. Does anyone know anything about them? Ever met any one from their group? Are they crackpots or what?

This particular flat-earth society is almost certainly tongue-in-cheek. However, there was a real one at least until the early 1990s, when its founder died.
