I live in St. Pete and we are on a Hurricane warning. 350,000 people have been told to evacuate. I live on some of the highest ground in the county, 26 ft. so I don't have to go. I will try to work a little in the morning but as soon as the sky turn black I'm heading home. My girlfriend is running a shelter and has to stay there until the officials give the, "all clear", maybe Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
I went to pick up some work related stuff this morning at Home Depot...bad idea....stupid actually! The place was packed with people getting plywood and generators. Home Depot had signs everywhere telling folk they could not return the stuff. Next week I'm going to check the classifieds and pick up a cheap generator and a shit load of plywood. Should get a hell of a deal!
Right now the weather is perfect! But it can change in the time it takes to run out and roll up your car windows! Mav

Be careful, the lot of you! I hope it only, by a freak of nature, takes out all the unoccupied kingdom halls in the state of Florida. Maybe then I would believe there was a god *snicker*.

SP, hopefully where you are it will be thrilling, but I'm been in a number of them and would just as soon have this one land somewhere else! I was in Miami right after Andrew and don't look forward to my 100 year old oak tree coming through the roof! Mav
