Another example of a tragic death caused by one driving under the influence of alcohol surfaces in San Diego. The death of Natalie Fuentes should not have happened. She was a J.W.

See "Dui-linked death is twice devastating. Victim, suspect part of Lindbergh Field family"

One of my siblings was killed by a drunk driver. There are no words to describe the living hell it inflicts on you for the rest of your life.

We just had a young boy die here Sunday. Simply going too fast and not wearing his seat belt.

I'll be taking my son to the funeral and hoping to God it makes an impression. He knew the boy.

That is very sad. A little girl here was killed about two weeks ago by a drunk driver. She had been walking home from a park, crossing the street. My son sure had alot of questions about it all at the time, being that it was a child that was killed. Such a terrible thing for her, her husband and family.

    Hello friends,

I work as a trauma and triage specialist and see the devastation caused by drinking and driving. In a town of about 200,000 and during a 30-36 hour shift, I am involved with about 4 per shift. It takes a terrible toll on familys, friends, medics, doctors and everyone involved. I do not know the answer...sometimes I feel there is none to this growing problem. Please be safe out there and remember to buckle up.

Not to go completely tangential to the drinking/driving aspect, but once again a shining example of the JW lack of charity--believing it is better to "leave it in Jehovah's hands." Well, looks like the man in the sky was using the co-workers rather than his "faithful servants."

Airport workers and friends of the Fuentes family have done what they can to ease the pain. They held a bake sale to help raise money for the family. Several hundred airport workers were among those who attended Aug. 7 services at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Pacific Beach.

I know what would solve a big part of the problem: there needs to be some sort of device made into the steering wheel of the car that's like a breathelizer. You have to blow into it before the car starts up. If you blow over---the car don't start, as simple as that.
