i was going to pm you, but the hell with it, I grew up in the albany and corvallis OR cong.s (all 4 of 'em) My name is Sam Davidow, and my lil' bro is Tyler Davidow, the one in the news a couple years ago, 'cuz he's suing the JW's.

I disassociated myself when I was 22 and pretty much never looked back, and I don't have any reason not to be open with people here (perhaps I am naive). I understand why some people would need to remain anonymous and absolutely don't hold that against them. I was born in Medford and moved to Roseburg when I was seven. I attended all three congregations (including the one with all the Bass families) and one in Glide. My Dad is an elder now in Myrtle Point and my mom is a regular pioneer. My sister Juliet faded about the same time that I DA'd. My baby brother faded, but still lets my parents bully him into going to Memorial. Moved to Sacramento when I was 23, but was not a JW then. Moved back to Oregon (Portland area) about a year and a half ago. I am writing a longer version of my "story", but even after this long, I still find it kind of difficult in places to write about some things. Think it will be good therapy, though. Thanks again for the message ( I LOVE being told "happy birthday"!!)

No, I don't have contact with any of the dubs anymore down there. The only one of my family still left in Roseburg is my brother and he faded long ago. Why? Do you know any of them? There were lots of them.
