It looks like we are going to New Orleans. Tranfer is in about one week. I know, it's always fast.

The office is actually in Metairie, just outside of town. Looking to stay close to there.
Hey, I may be down in the "Big Easy" in mid-October!! My fiancee is going for a conference. Last time he went I tagged along and enjoyed the French Quarter and other sites.....it was 2 years ago....on Halloween....now that was a FUN Halloween on Bourbon Street!!!!
Maybe a meet up is in order..... :-)

Hey Brian - Metairie is cool - if you like suburbs. Its a little quieter than the city and doesn't flood as much. Plus its close to the city - but far enough that you won't have to worry as much about the crime rate. Metairie is also good if you have kids (much better school system). Actually, a lot of suburbanites live across the lake in Mandeville/Covington. It is really nice up there. When will be here?
Hi also Alana--- I'll volunteer to be the tour guide for a meet up! October is a nice time of year to be in the Big Easy! Not as HOT.
We will be there on Sept. 7th. We'll be in hotel for about 2 weeks, before moving into apartment.
I agree, a little Oct. meet-up would be cool.
