Gohhhd, how many times does Jehover have to destroy the United Nations building? First he tries with his sword, then with lightning, how about a mace? Then he tries wiping it away with a giant cloth, but its still there! He tries having a giant donkey trample it, but it's still there! No wonder Jehover's organization joined the U.N. .... if you can't beat 'em.....

There are SO many depictions of the destruction of these famous buildings, I think the WTBTS should be worried about being targeted by the government as a possible terrorist threat.

I gotta admit, the one showing the giant hand holding a paper towel and wiping the earth was pretty creative. A sword? Nah. A mace? Nah. A giant fist? Nah. Lightning? Earthquakes? But a giant paper towel? Yikes, now that one's got me a-shaking'. Maybe it was conceived by a guy who used to be a janitor. Probably shut his "creativity" down when he started Armageddon using a big-assed mop and broom. Robert

Priceless. I wonder if there is some sort of death by carpet stretcher or Trim-Line applicator that could be depicted.
I had always pictured the big A as having fire and brimstone, bowling ball sized hailstones, huge cracks in the earth, and angels on firey horses (I am, after all, a child of the "Paradise" book). But the BIG PAPER TOWEL - man, someone should send this idea to Steven King. It's terrifying.

For a certainty, all the conditions foretold in Bible prophecy are here. We are indeed very deep into the "last days" of this system of things and nearing the final part, the "great tribulation" with its Armageddon finish
Still has'nt come though, has it?

No, it sounds like a bunch of normal people running things. Very seductive... I think I'm going to go back...

i remember this magazine as a kid, and going on door to door work with my parents in a muslim area, asking people 'how do you think the world will end?' and showing them the drawing of the sword... i remember one guy pointing at the photo and saying 'that is how the world will end'... as far as i remember the line that was being preached was that jehovah was NOT going to destroy the world like that, and then the kindom message speel, become a jw, live in paradise earth.
maybe thpse were just the lyrics they were using for trying to get muslim converts at the time... 1982, i was 5 years old and i remember, how messed up is that.
