There was a thread here, about Philosophy. A good description of the various branches of philosophy was posted and some comments about how the WTS view philosophy.
I cannot find that thread!! Does anyone know where it is?
In particular I want the post where someone told of a pioneer sister who wanted to take a night course in philosophy, but the elders told her if she did, she would be removed as a pioneer!
Ah yes, no thought control there!
Have people noticed when the WT talks about philosophy, they never give any details other than it is "empty" and "worldy wisdom"? So the JWs shake their heads in agreement, but if asked, they wouldn't even know what they are agreeing about.
Anyway, if anyone can find that thread, it would be appreciated.
