Former students at Hare Krishna schools are suing the religious movement for massive physical and sexual abuse, using the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations statute. That is effectively an anti-mob law created to take down Mafia front end organizations, as far as I understand it.
It will be interesting if this can pull through. Can set a precedent for similarly abusive religions.
