Meditation: What does God promise to those who lift their needs to Him?
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. The truth in this scripture lies in our priorities. Are we seeking our wants or are we seeking the will of God. The only way to know for sure is to live in God. We need to eat sleep and breathe the word of God in this way we know if we are asking amiss or not. Remember that God is our father not our genie or wish granter. How do we eat sleep and breathe the word of God and get our work done. This is the easy part of life. We get up and we pray we read our Bible everyday even if it is only a chapter a day. In this quality counts more than quantity. Read as much as your heart desires in the morning
so that you can reflect back on what you've read through out the day. Pray that God changes your heart to better fulfill. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart,O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Only God the creator can clean our heart.
Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? His will If we memorize a verse that's good I have no problem with that but that only puts them in your head. Only love for God can put them in your heart.
