Well, it?s official! We, the "Faithful Slave" (aka GB) are now calling on all those claiming to be ?anointed!? We are now conducting weekly surveys, to ask your opinion on very important topics! Therefore, if you are ?anointed? (and we know this from you Publisher Record Cards), please answer your phones, and after listening to many questions, please select your answers on your touch-tone phone, so we may know what to do. And if you don?t have a touch-tone phone, you?re screwed!

    Best regards,

The "Faithful Slave Class" (aka GB)

PS -- If You're upset that we joined the UN for 10 years, and had 2 homosexual GB members for a long time, please be assured we?ve ?corrected? matters. Our association with the UN was only to get a ?library card,? and the 2 homosexual GB members were dismissed and assigned as ?Special Pioneers.? OK, one of our GB members molested a 13-year old boy, but God forgives (as we?ve determined, and paid-off big-time)! But, we?re the GB, so we can forgive anyway we wish; we are the antitypical ?Moses Class!" So don?t you dare question us, otherwise you question God! Anyway, we just wanted to let you know we ?love you? (as we told you in this year?s JW Year Book). By the way, we now take Master Card and Visa; so please contribute to the world wide work! If you're not anointed, then please call 1-800-wch-twer to leave a donation.

Press 1 to vote for the collaborative NWT-Reader's Digest Condensed version of the Bible, highly recommended by important Experts as eliminating anything controversial or contradictory that might hinder the progress of new bible students and make their volunteer teachers look bad.

Press 2 to vote increased funding for the construction of apostate "Concentration Camps" wherein those who insist on thinking for themselves will be lovingly assisted, in a safe, supportive environment, to concentrate on a few simply phrased concentrated Bible Truths, repeated over and over, 24 hours per day, until such time as they are again considered fit association for the faithful.

Press 3 to vote for the following requirement to be added to those which must be met by all baptismal candidates: the transferral of all personal property and assets to those whom New Light has shown to be Princes and Heirs to the Kingdom (us), thus displaying their faith in God by choosing to lay up for themselves treasures in heaven rather than clinging to the things of the world.

Wait a minute, hold it, stop the tape. cyberguy, you're saying that the GB had two homosexual members (no pun intended) and that one of them was moelsting a 13 year-old? And these two guys are still breathing? Please, I need proof of this. No, not 8x10 glossies or testimony under oath. Was this ever discussed previously on this board? or anywhere else?

Nosferatu - thanks for the info. My problem here is that I hear about various instances and examples of the abuse and it is heart wrenching indeed (I am a victim of abuse, myself, although not at the hands of a JW). But what is of utmost concern to me is the actions of the GB that cyberguy alludes to, i.e. a coverup. This is important to me because the borg's non-actions in ref to lack of multiple witnesses with an accused child molester is, at best, an excruciatingly close call. Like cops letting a known rapist go because he wasn't properly "mirandized". Yeah, it sucks to high heaven, but to "overlook" the larger issue is to open an even bigger can of worms, but you don't throw away the turd's rap sheet. (I realize that many are saying that there are cases where 2 or more people are claiming abuse by a particular person and that these cases should meet the "multiple" witness criteria. No argument there.)

The major point I'm trying to discover here is whether the borg knew a GB member was homosexual and/or molesting children and then did not DF the ahole with malice. What comes into play here is the concept that if "elders" are held to a higher standard, then the "elders" of the "elders" should be held to a higher higher standard, which means that if bro GB is so stupid as to get himself into a situation where an accusation could even be reasonably made, maybe he needs to spend some time out on the street. It wouldn't matter if the guy repented a bazillion times, what could possibly be going thru the other GB members' minds that they would leave everybody's (from the lowliest publisher all the way to Jehovah) collective ass hanging out in the breeze?

Not only does covering up these matters get under my skin with the Holier-than-thou JW's, but how they always are so quick to point out the shortcomings in other religions to make theirs look so good but they have the same exact thing going on...

I can't remember the exact scripture and I may not quote it exactly but the whole borg gives the scripture "getting the straw out of someone else's eye when you have a camel in your own eye" a whole new light (no pun intended)
