I can't tell you how many times the elders have told me this.
So my ex-J Dub girfriend just emailed me asking me why I haven't been to the meetings.
This REALLY got my blood going.
So I wrote her this email...
Se if you can see how I APPLIED the "WAIT on JEHOVAH" line.
And, BTW. It's not mocking Jehovah. It's just of turn around on how THE WT applies it.
Ok...
Here is the email. See if you could spot the "different way" of bring out the "wait on... "
THE EMAIL FROM ME TO HER...
Anyway, thanks for inquiring about me as far a the truth.
Jesus was the one that made the rule up.
When you have a problem with a brother. And we're not talking about a small problem. We're talking about a big problem.
You go to him.
If he doesn't listen. You take a brother with you.
If he doesn't listen to them. Then you talk to the congregation.
That's the law.
I've talked to the brother.
I talked to the elders in that elder's congregation.
I talked to the elders in the *** Congregation.
I talked to the C.O. before this one.
I talked to this new C.O. TWICE.
The last time I talked to him at the hall, he told me, and as Jehovah is my witness.
I'm not going to help.
This makes 5 times that I have took the Christian route to settle this matter.
And this is NOT a petty issue.
This is what is going on.
The brother, and I know you know who he is.
But the brother in question is the most prominent elder in the *** Congregation.
What he did is an embarrassment to him, and an embarrassment to the congregation.
Everyone is afraid to speak up to him.
So for this reason it's easier to sweep me under the rug.
And all I'm asking for is the man to step up to the plate, and meet with me and two other brothers so I can accuse him of his sins so he can repent or deny.
I can't get this meeting.
This is Jehovah's arrangment.
You approach the brother. And if he doesn't listen. You bring along a brother.
So far, I can't get to the "bring along a brother" part, because everyone is afraid to be the person who has to stand up to this man.
The stock JW response is " when it shouldn't stop you from serving Jehovah."
And it hasn't.
I'm still serving Jehovah down to this day.
People will say, "Jehovah's Organization is run by imperfect people."
And that it is.
So I forgive them for the first 5 oversites.
But until then, I am awaiting my meeting.
And it's kind of like this.
You go into a restaurant and the service is real bad.
But the food is great. So you eat it.
But you complain to the manager and he doesn't do anything.
So then you complain to the owner.
So I'm waiting on Jehovah right now.
I'm pretty sure that soon I will get my meeting with the brother.

Man, they really hate it when you actually use and apply their rules, but apply the rules to them!!!! How dare you?????? ;)

Great, Confucious, and soon Jehovah, upon whom all "loyal" JW's wait, will also take care of all the world's problems and all the Witnesses' personal problems. After all, no one has ever waited very long for Jehovah to take care of matters, right?
Thanks for sharing your email.

Annanias
Is it just me, or is the human race losing the ability to communicate via the written word?

Anna,
If it's like Hand Written Words.
Tell me about it!!!
I can't even write my own name anymore.
J/K.
But I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing.
I email my mom every day.
You should start at thread and ask everyone else. -

Is it just me, or is the human race losing the ability to communicate via the written word?
No, it isn't just you..... and Yes, the written word is quickly becoming extinct.
