I really have a hankering to take another holiday in Madeira Island with HL.
There's some cheap deals going for spring next year. We can fly straight from Bristol which is only a 20 minute drive. I wanna go walking the levadas!

But...I'm due to get my bum re-connected to my stomach in January or February, so I might be cutting it a bit fine I guess.

You've got a great turn of phrase - LOL.
It might well be cutting it fine, given recovery times, etc.
You should be in good form, come the imte of the BBQ, though. Maybe you'll even be able to sink a little more than 1.5 pints by then, too

Mike, try to schedule your reconnection as far from your trip as you can. Give yourself the most time to recover in between. My surgeon said that walking is the best way to get strength before and after surgery. When you've recovered enough, a trip like that could really help yours and HLS's moral and give you that boost that you need to beat any blues gotten from the shock of both surgeries.
Sometimes you do your best thinking on the road. That's some road!

Good to see your taking this with some humor E-man.Your a trooper and thats why you pull threw like a champ.
