In Attleboro, Mass. Jehovah's Witnesses sought to have dismissed an abuse suit on grounds of separation of church and state. The judge didn't buy it. This might prove an interesting case indeed. See "Judge won't dismiss abuse suit 0" at

Wow, hopefully it will come to a good out come for the victims. The judge made the first good step by not allowing it to be dismissed. Even by filing the papers will be come public view and another chip will be put into the tower's base.

Judge won't dismiss abuse suit 0

ATTLEBORO -- A Fall River Superior Court judge will not dismiss a lawsuit filed against the Jehovah's Witnesses that alleges the church ignored sexual abuse claims in Attleboro three decades ago.

The lawsuit was filed in April by an Attleboro woman and two relatives who allege church officials in Attleboro and Seekonk were told about the abuse and did not take `` appropriate'' action, allowing the abuse to continue.

A dismissal was sought by the church relating to the issue of separation of church and state.

Excellent! The WTS has been hiding abuse behind the veil of the Separation of Church and State for too long!

I'm amazed that their claims have lasted as long as they have. If I were to open a corporation that sold a few cookies a year and then had the "corporation" pay all of my living expenses for a massive tax deduction I would be sent to jail so fast it would make my head spin. What the WTS is doing is NO different when they say that they don't have to report abuse because it would violate their religion.

since it seems silent lambs is involved, i'm sure they will present the court scores, of other cases which the wt tried to hide behind some kind of legal loop hole the wt has been using to get out of all this. i learned as a teenager, the judge, court gets tired of seeing you , i think the courts are getting tired of seeing the wt in court for the same thing over and over. it's only a matter of time. and time is running out for the wt to keep fooling the courts. john
