The sad thing is that it probably isn't far off. There is something very very wrong about manufacturers of voting machines that have no audit trail being contributors to the republican party and the machines being used in Florida !!

Cute! I am a pole worker here in Florida and I worked the Primaries. The Machines are not linked to the internet and have an internal disk and paper tape. The procedure for setting up, operating, and closing down these machines is strickly monitored. I was impressed with how serious and careful my fellow workers were. Florida was a laughing stock last time, we are trying to see to it that does not happen again. Also pole watchers observe the voting and roving inspectors drop in all the time to check on the overall operation of the polling site.
