Say Mulan, can't they catch the English over there? From my experience of travelling in Germany most folks were English speakers of varying proficiencies.
I thought so, Oz, but the email to me was in German, and I had to have it translated, so assumed I needed to reply in German too.
I will try it in English, and see what happens.
