As is well known, Rutherford enjoyed using the title "Judge"

His use of the title came from his filling in for a circuit judge for a few days total.

In his books, and the advertising of his public talks, the title "Judge" was prominently used.

But.....when Rutherford appeared in courts of law for various trials....like in 1918 for instance...was he referred to as "The Honorable Judge" then?

When he spoke before the Supreme Court, did he use the title?

Actually, how would members of the legal profession view a lawyer taking on the title "Judge" in this manner? I think it would be considered inappropriate.

So, Rutherford was bluffing again...putting something over on the public he couldn't put over in the legal profession.

I read in some literature a long time ago that Rutherford was found guilty of purjury and later lost his licence to practice law. I;ll see if I can find something on the net to link up on this unless someone else can find it. If it's true it's very ironic that the author of much of "the truth" got into trouble for lying in court.

This recording, made by the Watchtower, is up for auction at eBay.

"Judge" Rutherford's PICTURE on the record label itself?

And they say they were not following any man. That Rutherford was not the head of the JWs!

Are they JOKING? or just OUT OF THEIR MINDS?

Rutherford announced..."ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE the KING and His Kingdom!" at one of the Ceder Point, Ohio conventions.

After seeing his image on the record containing a recording of his voice, one wonders who and what Rutherford REALLY meant when he said "King" and "Kingdom".

P.S. Rutherford ran the WT like a Kingdom...he was the de facto head, having the final say on any matter....a despotic, autocratic dictator!

Maybe he was referring to the Old Testamentic Judges as well: the leaders of Israel.

And lest we forget, this was prophecied to happen in the book of Revelation............
