Is it just me or is nearly suburb looking the same?
Just south of the town I live is a mall. Within a one mile radius of the mall exist countless chain stores such as the following :Linens and Things,Bed Bath and Beyond, Babies Are Us, Target, Dania Furniture, Pier One Imports, Barnes and Noble, and Old Navy. Just outside the Mall there are restaurants such as Applebies, Claim Jumper, PF Changs, Red Robin, Bahama Breeze and of course Starbucks.

When I travel to different cities I like to feel like I?m actually in a different place. I worry a bit when I read in the newspaper that Tony Roma?s won for Best Barbeque in Washington or Chevy?s wins for Best Mexican food.
Are mom and pop owned businesses being run out by corporate SOP conglomerates? What do you think?
