Yeah, and I loved his Pretender and Running on Empty albums...
Ancient DFW proverb say "He who marries goat is mozzer4life."

That quote is definately true. The frustrating thing is only balanced thinking people will accept it!
A comical favorite of mine is, "I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken!"
"A good sailor never knows where he's going until he gets there, and even then he's not sure." -- Jimmy Buffett
"Some have the speed and the right combinations/but if you can't take the punches, it don't mean a thing." -- Warren Zevon
Well, what if it was quoted to defend the JW position though? I know that's unlikely, JWs are usually in the position of they are all lost/wrong because they are not on our road, but a JW saying that doesn't mean they are not lost, either. The fact that others aren't on the same road as you just doesn't say anything about how you're doing as far as finding fulfillment, one way or the other.
Of course what that does indicate is how self centered that kind of thinking is, just because it doesn't follow your way it's just wrong. That doesn't even have to be an intellectual judgement in the sense of a particular belief system. We got this girl at work that thinks guys who doesn't check her out are gay and this kind of stuff. All I can say is, it isn't pretty when an adult behaves like a child in that they assume everything revolves around them. It isn't that there is any bad intent, they just literally don't see beyond their view of the world.
