Famous author Jimmy Breslin has written a new book called "The Church That Forgot Christ". He stopped attending Mass
after many decades because of his disgust with the Catholic churches' handling of pedophile priests. He refers to church
leaders being comfortable with 'privilege and entitlement'. Sounds all too familiar.

Great title. I sometimes wonder what first century christians would think about the "church" today.
My thoughts entirely about the Witnesses.
They are totally confused about Christ.
It seems patently clear reading the New Testament how the early Christians viewed Christ, he was the 'Lord' whose example and and commands they followed. The NWT translations ad-hoc substitution of Jehovah for Lord has the R&F in a total state of confusion. Ask the average witness who the 'Lord' is in 'always having plenty to do in the work of the Lord' and they will say Jehovah. How sad to claim to be Christian but totally miss the point.
