I have heard that there are no statistics published in the Jan !st 2005 Watchtower magazine. Is this true?

If their numbers keep dwindling, they may eventually stop printing stats altogether.

I heard it was because of a lack of homing pigeons, their new preferred method of communication between bethels, because of costs.

It really is amazing how long it takes them to count up their members. The service year ends on August 31, and the congregations all have to get their numbers in within a week or so.
In this day and age of computerization, businesses are processing their figures faster and faster all the time. My company can compute sales figures in real time. Yet, the society now takes five months. The holy spirit must be getting tired.
