  Can someone give insight into the practice of the JW's and not participating in any of the above? Don't you think that you are sheltering your children from the social 'norm' and causing your children to be 'different' in the eyes of their peers?

  Hi again Tim . Just in case you were unaware most here are XJWS and yes they are sheltering their children from the world practices because the JW teachings are that the Holidays are Pagan and politics is for the world.

  KLS,

  I was not sure of my target audience on these boards. I came across them when I decided to do some general research on the belief. I have shown my spouse this site and she is thrilled to find an avenue to see others views.
