I told these kids at school I'd make a mixed cd for a end of the semester party. They want something with adrenaline. So far all I got is:
Kick Out The Jams -MC5
Debaser -The Pixies
Surrender -Cheap trick
I was thinking about putting BOB- Outkast on it but...it's so played out.
Anybody have any suggestions? I'd appreciate it.

How old are the kids?
I don't know, if they're pre-teen maybe Pink - Get the Party Started, or Taylor Dayne - Supermodel? Maybe something by Linkin Park?
If you want to have a little fun, you could play "I'm Turning Japanese" by the Vapors and see if anyone gets it.

Let's Get It Started - The Black Eye Peas
Drop It Like It's Hot - Snoop with Pharell
Pieces of Me - Ashlee Simpson
One Thing - Eleven Fingers
Most of these are on the CD "Now That's What I Call Music 17" It's really great, and has a number of different musical styles.

OK, most of this is a bit older than they're likely used to, but:
The Boys From County Hell by the Pogues, off the Red Roses For Me disc
Let it Whip by the Dazz Band
El Matador by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs
Bring Me Some Water and I Want You off Melissa Etheridge's self-titled debut album
Rip Her to Shreds by Blondie
I Want a Lover by The Pet Shop Boys
Kiss Them For Me by Siouxzee and the Banshees
After the Flesh by My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult
D.M.S.R. by Prince
I hope these kids appreciate your efforts.

Thanks!
Insomniac- "I hope these kids appreciate your efforts."
I doubt it but I said I'd do it anyway. I probably shouldn't refer to them as kids--seeing as how I'm only a couple years older than most of them....but they're snotty little brats.
Thanks again and if you guys think of any other songs let me know, I got a couple days.
