If anyone could help and wouldn't mind, I'd be so grateful.
I am looking for those floppy bucket/fisherman style hats. I've searched the stores and it seems a million web pages. I haven't found what I'm looking for.
A plain floppy cotton hat in a solid,dark green or army green.
My head is hurting. I tried ebay, amazon and and countless hat sites but no luck.
Have you tried 'stealing' one? Sorry, no help from me.

Try an army surplus store or a sporting goods store (and outdoors one, like Bass Pro Shop).
I hope it's for your man...You're a doll, but you wouldn't look keen in one.

My dad got one, I will have to ask where he got it, but if its ever lost or stolen, he simply sends in a copy of his receipt and its replaced. I forget the brand.
