Apparently, back in the days of Mary and Joseph, arranged marriages were very common. A girl was usually married off by 12 or 13.

Yes he did. In short christianity is a 2000 year old child support case.Even if mary was not 13 I doubt she was over 18 because she was still a virgin and engaged to Joseph. Vigin women did not last too long before they started making babies.
