So, my friend works for NY1 newschannel and knows the editor at Latina Magazine. She likes the way i write so she asked me to write a short story cuz the magazine might feature it! I wanted to post it to get everyones opinion on it. There are some references to different neighborhoods in NYC and some words in Spanish, but its pretty understandable in context. Here goes:

I woke up one sunny Saturday morning and I stretched lazily in bed. ?Ah? I thought ?I can relax in bed all morning and watch some tv? Suddenly I get a call from a friend. ?Say you love me now, because I have a hook-up for you and your girls? said my friend J, a hot NYC promoter.

That's great! I love that magazine. I've tried my hand at some freelance writing and was published in a small insignificant magazine called Big World....it was nice seeing my name in print nonetheless.....I haven't written much since. You'll have to let us know what copy your story will be in! Good luck!

There is a bug in the editor for this site. You have to paste the Word document into Notepad and then copy and paste from notepad into here.
